Oliver J. Perrillioux, Sr.

Oliver Perrillioux, Sr., 89 years young, a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2026.

Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 9 am until service time. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow at St. Hilary Cemetery in Raceland.

Oliver is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lynn Chouest Perrillioux; his sons, Oliver Jr., Neal, Bryan, Gary, and Corey; his daughters, Rita Horn and Jessica St. Pierre; his 34 grandchildren and a total of 102 descendants.

He was preceded in death by sons, Rickey and Allen Perrillioux, and Donnie Glynn; his parents, Oliver and Felicia Dorsey Perillioux; and his siblings, Preslin, Royalton, Calden, and Madeline Pearson.

Mr. Oliver was a pancreatic cancer survivor and a devoted outdoorsman who found great joy in tending his yard and spending time on the water. He loved cooking for his family, sharing meals that brought everyone together. A gifted musician, he enjoyed playing the harmonica and accordion, often accompanied by his love of Cajun music. Known for his playful spirit, Oliver was a natural prankster who delighted in laughter and bringing smiles to those around him.
