In Loving Memory of Nina Stogner
Some people leave their mark on the world through accomplishments. Nina Stogner left hers through love.
Nina passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on December 7, 1960, in Lockport, Louisiana, she lived a life centered on caring for others. Whether you knew her as a wife, mom, grandmother, sister, coworker, or friend, you knew someone whose heart was always open and whose greatest happiness came from seeing those she loved smile.
Nina spent more than 20 years serving her community through her work at Walmart, but some of her most meaningful years were spent caring for children as a daycare director and caregiver. She had a special gift for making children feel important, and countless families were blessed by her patience, kindness, and gentle spirit.
When she wasn't caring for others, Nina found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved working in her garden, putting together puzzles, and creating scrapbooks that preserved precious family memories. She also found great joy in hearing Seth and Gina play music together. More than anything else, Nina loved her family. She was a devoted wife to Barry, a loving mother to Seth (Gina), Bryce (Tara), and Garrett, and an adoring grandmother to Isabella. One of her greatest joys was knowing that another granddaughter, Penelope, would soon be joining the family she loved so deeply.
Nina is also survived by her siblings: Ethelyn Ougel (Bobby), Keith Boudreaux, Tina Aucoin (Bobby), Darren Boudreaux (Tina), and Byron Boudreaux (Michelle), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives were made brighter by knowing her.
She was welcomed into eternal rest by her parents, Eugenie and Dennis Boudreaux, and her sister-in-law, Mary Boudreaux.
The measure of a life is not found in the number of years we are given but in the love we leave behind. Nina's life was rich with that kind of love. It lives on in every child she cared for, every flower that blooms in her garden, every family gathering filled with laughter, every scrapbook page preserving a treasured memory, and in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have been loved by her.
She will be missed beyond words and loved forever.
