He is survived by his wife Vici Lopez; sons, Nicholas Lopez Jr., Shane Smith, Chris Smith; daughter, Michelle Hampton; 8 grandchildren and special nephew, Craig Duet.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Myrtle Lopez; brother, Charles Lopez and sister, Lorraine Duet.
