Nelma "Taunt Do Do" Gordon, 88, a native and resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015.
Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, LA. Religious services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano, LA.
She is survived by her son, James Gordon; daughters, Lillie Gordon, Patricia Dardar and husband Blaine; grandchildren, Jerry, Shelley, Lucas, Tracy, Brian, Evan and Micah; 16 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wesley Gordon; daughter, Katie Barras and husband Claude; parents, Maurice and Etacia A. Gisclair and sisters, Arvella Duet, Mazie Pitre.
Taunt Do Do was a member of Eastern Star for 60 years. She worked actively for Bayou Bell Ringers, loved traveling, casinos, bingo and lived a wonderful life.
