Morris Sylvia lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and love for family.
For over 40 years, he worked as a skilled welder on ships, taking great pride in his craft and earning the respect of those who knew him.
Outside of work, Morris found joy on the water.
He loved fishing and trawling, spending countless hours enjoying the peace and beauty of nature.
His strength, determination, and love for the simple things in life will always be remembered.
Morris was the beloved son of Steven E. Sylvia and Armance Adams Sylvia. He is survived by his loving sister, Loretta A. Fontenette, and will be forever cherished by his nieces and nephews:
Denise, Sheena, Stephen, and Randy Jr.
Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in our hearts forever. His legacy lives on through the family and friends who were blessed to know him.
