Moise "Moe" Vegas, Jr., 58, a native and resident of Larose, LA, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm Tuesday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie Bouvier Vegas; son, Richard Gobert; daughter, Chrissy Gobert; sisters, Katie Barrios, Seraine Gaspard, Christine Cheramie; grandchildren, Britany, Corey, Bari, Maci, Jossalyn Gobert, Julien Cressionie; step grandson, Reggie Ducote and 5 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Moise Sr. and Lorraine Ybazabal Vegas; mother and father-in-law, Rickie and Melva Bouvier and sister, Nelia Cheramie.
Falgout Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
