Maudry Naquin Plaisance

Maudry Naquin Plaisance, a native of Montegut and resident of Cut Off, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Cut Off, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 10 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12 noon with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Maudry is survived by her sons, Herman Jr., Randy (Denise), Wayne Sr. (Rose); grandchildren, Michael, Chrisy, Jason, Shelly, Scott, Lacey, Taylor, Wayne Jr., and Megan; great-grandchildren, Allie, Mia, Owen, Taylor, Calleigh, Kyle, Caden, Jude, Dawson, Carter, Walker, Jacques, Evalyn, Braydin, Trace, Kaz, Cylus, Diego and Jaden; 1 great-great-grandchild, Amoni; 5 brothers and 1 sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Plaisance Sr.; parents, Jean Usie and Della Naquin; daughter, Mona Plaisance; son, Jason Plaisance; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Maudry was a parishioner of Sacred Heart. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and cooking for her family.
