Mary M. Tanner

Mary M. Tanner, 60, a native of Lockport, and resident of Houma, LA, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home, in Lockport, on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 9 am until service time. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.

Mary is survived by her husband of 35 years, Phillip Tanner; children, David Tanner and Lacey Tanner; grandson, Konner Thompson; brothers, Donny Melancon (Ursala), Gordon Melancon, Louis Melancon (Amber); mother-in-law, Violet McLauglin and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Joyce Penny Melancon; father-in-law, Lonnie Tanner.

Mary was a beloved wife and mother She loved her pets dearly and spending time with her family. Mary found her happy place at her family camp in Bogalusa. Sometimes there are no words, just love.
