Mary Rose Matherne

Mary Rose Matherne, 72, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on October, 17, 2026.

Mrs. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 50 years: Warren Matherne, Sr.; children: Donna Boudreaux, Warren Matherne, Jr.; Darren Matherne (Michelle), April Ougel (Eric), Destiny Matherne; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother: Joseph Pitre; and sisters: Christine Matherne, and Diane Pitre.

Mrs. Matherne was preceded in death by children: Rosemary and Maryrose Matherne; parents: O’Neil and Theresa Pitre; brother: Wayne Pitre.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off on October 23, 2026 from 10:00 am until service time. Mrs. Mary’s Funeral Mass will begin at 12 noon with cremation following.
