Mary P. Hebert

Mary P. Hebert, 82, a native of Mount Airy, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Mary is survived by her sons, David Breaux (Linda), Brian Hebert Jr. (Elizabeth), Jerry Truxillo Jr., Nathan Truxillo (Tiffany); daughter, Cheryl Truxillo; brothers, Sammy Petrolia Sr., Ronald Petrolia (Lois), Barry Petrolia (Virginia); sisters, Yola Jane Dufrene (George), Darlene Andras (Randy), Evelyn “Nonnie” Sanchez, Pamela Thibodaux; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Hebert Sr.; parents, Samuel and Evelyn Petrolia; son, Lonnie Truxillo; brothers, Nathan Petrolia, Dale Petrolia; sister, Nettie Galeto; and her grandchild, Trent Truxillo.

The Hebert family would like to thank the staff of Hope Hospice, especially Desmond for the care he provided for Mary, and a very special thanks to Elizabeth, Brian Jr’s wife, for being an angel and doing everything she could for Mary when it was needed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Mary Nativity Church, in Raceland, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 beginning at 9:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
