Martin "Jesty" Naquin

Martin “Jesty” Naquin, native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, in Golden Meadow, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 9 am until Mass time at 11 am. Graveside services will follow in Hebert Cemetery.

Jesty is survived by his children, Diana Kiger (Bruce Sr.), Margie Hebert (Johnny), Mary Helmer, Christine Lee, Martin Naquin Jr. (Marla), Troy Naquin (Leslie), Jennifer Naquin, Brent Naquin, Brad Naquin and Chad Naquin; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and brother, Harry Naquin.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elmina “Mena” Naquin; wife, Elrita “Rita” Naquin; parents, Nelson and Coleste Naquin; children, Andrew Naquin Sr., Pearl Naquin, Jack Naquin, Victoria Naquin, Carol Naquin and Ray Naquin; grandchildren, John Naquin and Tiffany Naquin; great-grandchildren, Addison Arceneaux and Tad James Arceneaux Jr.; siblings, Felicie, Semonia, Rose, Frank, Wilbert and Russell Naquin; sons-in-law, Kenneth Helmer Sr. and Wayne Lee Sr.
