Marion Adams Birdsall
January 13, 1929 — October 16, 2022
Marion Adams Birdsall, 93, a native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Holy Savior Catholic Church Little Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond Birdsall Jr. and Randy Birdsall; daughters, Paula Callais (Wayne), Joan Birdsall, Phyllis Chiasson (Robert) and Julie Carriere (Herbert); grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Jordan Callais, Ray Birdsall, Michelle Domangue, Heidi Wimberly, Lesley Green, Jessica Plummer, Mark, Andrew and Jill Carriere; 18 great grandchildren and sister, Shelia Adams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Birdsall Sr.; grandson, Hilton Anselmi Jr.; parents, Adolph Adams Sr. and Jeanne Boudreaux Adams; brothers , Murphy Adams and Adolph Adams Jr.; and sisters, Aline Curole, Maude Logrie Ulrich, Ethel Rome and Wanda Danos.
Marion was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Holy Savior Holy Name Society and Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and loved spending time with her family.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Savior Catholic Church. Special thanks to Dr. Russell Henry, Notre Dame Hospice, Karen and Jessica for their care and compassion.
