Marie Lirette Schmill, 87, a native and resident of Boutte, died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Luling. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.
She is survived by fours sons, Dalton Schmill and wife, Marilyn, Russell Schmill and wife, Vickey, Mitchell Schmill and wife, Susan, and Kenneth Schmill and wife, Jill; one daughter, Linda Dufrene and husband, Curtis; one sister, Etta Lockbaum; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy T. Schmill; her parents, Wilfred and Lydia Champagne Lirette; two sons, Larry and David Schmill; one brother, Clifton Lirette; and one sister, Elma Griffin.
She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
