Marie Trahan Schexnayder, 92, a native of Welsh, LA and a resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 4:55 AM in Cut Off, LA.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday, December 6, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Larry B. Schexnayder, Farrell D. Schexnayder and wife Cindy; daughters, Rachel Williams and husband Ted, Donna Picou and husband Phillip, Darlene Williams and husband Parrish; brother, Roy Trahan; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Schexnayder; sons, Darryl J. Schexnayder, Gary L. Schexnayder; daughter-in-law, Beulah Schexnayder; parents Eugene and Elena Mallet Trahan; brother, Dupre Trahan; sisters, Rose Mallet and Mathilda Arceneaux.
