Manuella “Wella” Sampey Adams, 83, a native of Gheens, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
She is survived by her sons, Cory Adams (Amy) and Dondi Adams (Mandi); grandchildren, Benjamin Adams, Emily Whitney (Lee), Gaven Adams, Arwen Adams, Kaden Adams and Annalise Adams; sisters, Earline Theriot and Dolly Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin “June” J. Adams Jr.; daughter, Gigi Adams; parents, Elvans and Lorita Sampey; brothers, Virgil Sampey, Salvin Sampey and sister, Katie Theriot.
Wella was a member of St. Hilary Ladies Altar Society.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
