Manson Joseph Billiot, Sr., 81, a native of Golden Meadow, LA and a resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, LA and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday, February 9, 2015 at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cut Off, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery, Galliano, LA.
He is survived by his wife, Ida S. Billiot; sons, Manson Billiot, Jr. and companion Linda, Randy Billiot and companion Dena, Floyd Billiot and wife Brigette; daughters, Ella Perez and husband Edel, Fay Esteban and husband Nick, Lucy Leger and husband Carl, Angie Billiot and companion Bobby, Stella Billiot and companion Peanut; brother, Davis Billiot; sisters, Gloria Cheramie and companion Larry, Ollie Verdin and husband Jimmy; 22 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Oxicila Billiot; brothers, Antonie "Sam" Billiot, Maurice Billiot, Tilden "Bay Bay" Billiot , Sr. and sisters, Edith Wainwright, Gladys Billiot, Angelina "Ann" LeBlanc.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed arts and crafts and family gatherings.
