Mabel Marie Gaubert, 97, a native and resident of Luling, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Luling, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery.
Mabel was a loving and caring individual who never spoke a mean word of anyone.
She was survived by her sisters-in-law, Dianne Poche Gaubert and Mary S. Marcel and many generations of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Veronica Gaubert; brothers, Edward, Wallace, S.J., Ernest, Richard, Carroll and Raymond Gaubert and sisters, Elise Falgout, Vivian Gaubert, Alma Gaubert, Enid Holibough, Earline Gaubert and Mildred Gaubert.
She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Edith Gaubert for taking such wonderful care of Mabel.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
