Lucille G. Ford, 97, a native of Napoleonville and a resident of Mathews, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Mathews, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Tuesday at St. Hilary Catholic Church with burial to follow in Resurrection Memorial Park Cemetery, Mathews, LA.
She is survived by her son, Ray Ford; 7 grandchildren; six great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theophile Ford; son, Larry Ford; daughter, Ruth Knight; parents, Clodomir and Octavie Blanchard Gauthreaux; brothers, Dennis, Elmo, Joseph, Lawrence, Clarence Gauthreaux; sisters, Mabel Adams, Jeannie Guidry, Dora Hernandez and 1 grandchild.
The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice. Special thanks to her niece, Peggy Price.
