Louis E. Pitre Jr., 85, a native of Lafourche Parish, died Monday, June 20, 2011.
He is survived by one son, Timmy Pitre; five daughters, Gail Rogers and husband, Larry, Kathy Varnum and husband, Earl, Karen Rogers and husband, Johnny, Corena Ledet and husband, Jerry, and Patty Lefort and husband, David; one half-brother, Joseph Cheramie; three half-sisters, Jane Cheramie, Rita Guidry and Delta Guillory; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Pitre Sr. and Lazy C. Pitre; and half-brother, Gelpi "Blue" Cheramie.
