Louis "Louie" LeBlanc

With heavy hearts and heartfelt gratitude for his life, we announce the passing of Louis “Louie” Edward LeBlanc, a native of New Orleans, and longtime resident of Larose and Luling, LA. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the age of 75.

Louie, a proud Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. A man known for his strength, faith, and unwavering love for the lord, his family, and his country.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 glorious years, Cynthia “Cindy” LeBlanc; Children, Chad LeBlanc (Angela) and Jenny LeBlanc; Grandchildren, Thomas LeBlanc (companion Alyssa) and Jacob Guidry; Sisters, Linda Salvant and Jane LeBlanc (companion Kenny); Mother-in-law, Billie Baker; Niece and goddaughter, Melinda Macaluso (Ricky); Nephew, Dustin Dore’; Great niece and nephew, Mia and Josh Macaluso.

Louie was preceded in death by his parents; Octave “Johnny” and Isabel LeBlanc; Father-in-law, Billie Baker; Brother-in-law, Sidney Salvant; Nephew; Jonathon Dore’.

The LeBlanc family would like to extend our sincere appreciation to his caretaker Eva and all his friends at Holy Family Catholic Church who assisted in our time of need. You were sent by the Lord, and we cannot thank you enough.

Visitation will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling, LA. on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 10:00am until service time. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon. A graveside service will be followed at Our Lady of The Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose, LA.

In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations in memory of Louie LeBlanc to Holy Family Catholic Church.
