Louella Marie Dufrene, 85, a native of Gheens, Louisiana and resident of Landmark of Collins, Mississippi died at 6:00 pm Thursday May 4, 2023.
Visitation will be Monday, May 8th from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Reeves Funeral Home in Mount Olive, Mississippi. Then on Wednesday, May 10th from 9:00 am till 11:00 am at St. Hillary of Poitiers Catholic Church, in Raceland Louisiana. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 am with interment at Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery.
She is survived by 5 children, Kirby J. Rivere (Leslie), Bonnie J. Scott (Edward), Karl J. Rivere (Lisa), Leonard J. Rivere Jr. (Georgia), Terence J. Rivere (Tammie); one sister, Sylvia Theriot (Robert Sr.); one brother, Kevin A. Dufrene; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. Rivere Sr.; her parents, Clifton Dufrene, Lorena P. Dufrene; one grandson, Derek J. Rivere; one brother, Calbert Dufrene; one great grandchild, baby Lepine.
