Lorraine Lefort Pierce, a native of Galliano and a resident of Cut Off, La., passed away on Sept. 18, 2023.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Pierce Sr., children, Maria Gayle Pierce, Kathy Pierce Ledet (T-Mel), Dinah Pierce Pitre (Robert), Sandy Pierce, and Alvin Pierce Jr. (Katie); 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 godchildren; sisters, MaeAnn Danos and Audrey Burket,
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Lefort Sr. and Benesia Lefort; brothers, Andrew Lefort Jr., Norman Lefort, and Rudy Lefort; sisters, Norma Plaisance, Laura Mae Guidry, Oleeta Autin, and Doris Lefort.
