Loretta A. Plaisance

Loretta A. Plaisance, 71, native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Visitation will be held at Holy Savior Little Church on January 28,2026 from 9:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to be held at a later date.

Loretta is survived by her daughter, Laura P. Cortez (Kevin Jr.); grandchildren, Sydaleigh and Thomas J. Cortez; brother, Eric Plaisance (Pat); sister, Louise P. Guidry (Thomas); nephews, Toby Guidry (Margery), Joey Guidry; grandnephews, Maddox and Tristen Plaisance; Grandniece, Daisy Guidry.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Lorraine Plaisance; grandchild, Kevin “Bubba” Cortez III; brother, Donald Plaisance; nephew, Justin Plaisance.
