Loretta Rita Lambert

Loretta Rita Lambert, 87, a native and resident of Raceland, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026.

Visitation will be from 9:00AM on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at St. Hilary Catholic Church, Raceland, Louisiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM, followed by burial at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery, Raceland.

She is survived by her sister, Lois Lambert Cantrelle (Norris); nephews, John Cantrelle (Collette) and Andy Cantrelle; grandnephews, Matthew Cantrelle, Mark Cantrelle, Paul Cantrelle, and Patrick Cantrelle; and grandniece; Claire Cantrelle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Lambert and Lena Luquette Lambert, and her sister, Mary Ann Lambert.

Loretta was a dedicated educator who taught at Holy Savior Catholic School and at Raceland Upper Elementary School.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Russell Henry, The Broadway Elder Living and Rehabilitation, Hope Hospice, Father Davis Ahimbisibwe, and Father Dean Danos, for their compassionate care.
