Linwood Pierre Terrebonne

September 9, 1935 — July 16, 2025

Reserve, LA

Linwood “Woody” Pierre Terrebonne, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. A longtime resident of Galliano and a 1953 Graduate of Golden Meadow High School, Woody, as he was known by nearly every one of his friends and family, was very active in the local civic and business community. He was the long-time former General Manager of L&M Botruc, a member of the Board of Directors of Community Bank, one of the founders of Partners in Education, a local scholarship fund, and was an active member of the Golden Meadow Rotary Club and other Civic Organizations. Woody was preceded in death by his wife Mandy LeBoeuf Terrebonne, with whom he travelled the world and raised a loving family.

He is survived by his daughter, Theresa Terrebonne (grandson Joshua Bourg), his son Joel Terrebonne (daughter in law Lynn Terrebonne), his sisters Patricia Terrebonne Lowenhaupt and Ruby Terrebonne Lorraine and his brother Dale Terrebonne. Woody was also preceded in death by his parents Edward Terrebonne and Josephine Duet Terrebonne, his sister Norma Terrebonne and his brother Phil Terrebonne. Woody is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews, his step-granddaughter Melissa Hebert Delaune and other extended step-family members.

Woody was a US Army Veteran and served his final years as a resident of the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home in Reserve, Louisiana where he enjoyed the camaraderie and friendship of his fellow veterans and the staff of The Veterans Home. In heartfelt appreciation to his fellow Veterans and the Staff of the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home the family would request that in lieu of flowers, consideration should be made to making donations to the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Home. Everyone there was much loved and appreciated by Mr. Woody.
