Linies J. "Joe" Cheramie, 88, a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014.
Visitation will be held at Christian Fellowship Church on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Cleveland Chouest, Jr., Gilmay J. Chouest, Jeffery L. Chouest; daughter, Patricia Louviere; brother, Leogard "T-Ga" Cheramie; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bergeron Cheramie; father, Walzey Cheramie; mother, Marie Terrebonne Cheramie; son, Johnny J. Cheramie; brothers, Lorris Cheramie, Antoine Cheramie, Norris Cheramie, Gorris Cheramie; sisters, Paviola Cheramie, Viola Cheramie Bergeron, Norriscia Cheramie.
Falgout Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
