Lindo “Fox” Daniel Terrebonne, 86, a native of Golden Meadow, LA and resident of Cut Off, LA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
He is survived by his wife of 67 beautiful years, Thelma Terrebonne; sons, Keith Terrebonne (Suzanne) and Craig Terrebonne (Gail); daughter, Andrea Curole (Kent); grandchildren, Lauren Terrebonne, Jessie Thompson (Nick), Megan Bourgault (Robert), Sara Daigle (Tony), Derek Terrebonne (Kelly), Rosalind Benoit (Andre), Jamie Boteler (Katie), Alex Boteler (Sara), Liz Abreu, Jacob Curole (Laura), Casey Curole and Maggie Curole; and his great- grandchildren, Dylan Nuss, Sydney Nuss, Wilder Thompson, Dax Thompson, Beth Bourgault, Luke Bourgault, Desmond ‘Dez’ Daigle, Zoe Daigle, Myles Daigle, Jaxon Terrebonne, Olivia Benoit, Amelia Benoit, Corey Benoit, and Bennett Boteler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Terrebonne Jr. and Gosta Pitre Terrebonne.
Lindo was a banker at State Bank and Trust for 42 years. He was a past president, board member, and telethon chairman for 40+ years of a nonprofit organization called Cerebral Palsy of Louisiana. He was very proud and honored to be a part of that organization. He was a past president and board member for several years for The Louisiana Oyster Festival Association. He was the Lafourche Chamber of Commerce Community Hero of the Year for the year 2011. He was past Admiral of The Golden Meadow Blessing of the Fleet and Bull Club Fair. He was also a teacher of confirmation class and a Eucharistic Minister for years at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, LA. Lindo was the most loving and amazing husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was loved by many, and he will be missed by all.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, LA on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2:00PM with burial to follow at Cheramie Cemetery.
The family would like to give special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice and to Mary Cheramie.
