Linda Champagne Hymel, 74, a native and resident of St. Charles Parish, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home, in Raceland, on Monday, March 14, 2022 from 9:00 am until service time. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft, LA.
Linda is survived by her sons, Dwayne A. Walters (Ronda) and Brett J. Walters (Angela); step-daughters, Mandy Bianchini and Rachel Oakman; grandchildren, Kristen Nowell, Shelby Wise, Zach Walters, Rece Walters; great-grandchildren, Bryson and Colton Nowell, Murphy Wise; brothers, Roland Champagne Jr. (Sherry), Mickey Champagne (Tammy); first husband, Aaron Walters Jr.; brother-in-law, Keith Neff, companion, Larry Falgout Jr.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland Sr. and Maria Champagne; brother, Terry Champagne (Nancy); sister, Sandra Neff; husband, Ralph Hymel and former husband, Wayne Lirette.
Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
