Linda Rae Marie Boudoin Lee, 81, a lifelong resident of Raceland, LA passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, LA from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday, April 8, 2024, at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church from 8:30 AM until service time. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery.
Linda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Percy J. Lee.; sons, Ricky J. Lee (Stephanie) and Robby J. Lee (Crystal); grandchildren, Trevor, Laney, Ethan, Jacob and Jonathan; sister, Eloise B. Foret; aunt, Gean Chiasson; sister-in-law, Gail Falgout (LenRay) as well as several Godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren A. Boudoin and Bernice Dufrene Boudoin; brother, Errol Boudoin; father and mother-in-law, Enoch and Adrine Lee; brothers-in-law, George J. Foret Jr. and Allen A. Lee; sister-in-law, Dianna Lee and numerous uncles and aunts.
Linda was a graduate of Raceland High School (1961) and Nicholls College (1965) earning a degree in education. After several years of employment as a teacher, she left the classroom and became a stay-at-home mom to her two sons. Linda was a sweet soul with a beautiful smile who always lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed gathering with family, spending time with friends and classmates, and attending music and sporting events to cheer on her grandchildren. Linda was a loving and special lady to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. She was a devout Catholic of strong faith and was a member of the St. Hilary of Poitiers Council of Catholic Women and various other church groups. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, family and all who knew her.
