Linda Ann Plaisance Diebold Johnson

Linda Ann Plaisance Diebold Johnson, 78, a native of Cut Off, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family. Known for her kindness, intelligence, and adventurous spirit, she spent many years serving her community as Linda P. Diebold, Notary Public. Linda especially enjoyed traveling the country with her husband, Ronald, reading, and thrift shopping.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ronald Johnson; daughter, Jessica Diebold Vega (David); stepsons, Larry Johnson (Courtney) and Travis Johnson (Terri); grandchildren, Jacob (Allie), Emmelyn (Jacob), Jonathan (Elizabeth), Zachary, Natalie, Nicole (Morgan), Alexis, Christopher, and Jamie; and great-grandchildren, Carter Mae, Scotty Rae, and Remington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Lenora Plaisance; siblings, Janice Johansen, Jean Chiasson, and Bobby Plaisance; and beloved grandson, Eric Paul.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Community Bible Church, with food served afterward at the Family Life Center. Casual attire is encouraged.
