Leodia G. Johnfroe

Mrs. Leodia G. Johnfroe, 94, a native and resident of Galliano passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021.

A visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 9:00 am until 10:30. Procession will follow to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano for Mass beginning at 11:00 am with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.

Mrs. Leodia is survived by her children, Gerald Johnfroe (Cheyenne), Elaine Gaspard, Jennifer Johnfroe, Donald Johnfroe (Marinda), and Patty Griffin (Ben); 12 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and many godchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. Johnfroe was preceded in death by her husband, Eunice “Froe” Johnfroe; son-in-law, Larry Gaspard; great granddaughter, Avia Guidry; great great granddaughter, Melanie Johnfroe; parents, Camille Guidry and Lezima Duet; brothers, Gracien Guidry, Jackson Guidry, and Almate Guidry; sisters, Gracious G. Rousse, Eulalie G. Chouest, Ozite G. Eymard, Camillia G. Orgeron, Thelma Lefort, and two sisters that died young.

She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society at St. Joseph, was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and trawled with her husband, Eunice for many years.
