Kristy Michelle Stansberry

Kristy Michelle Stansberry, 49, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026. She was a native of Aransas Pass and Portland, TX and a resident of Gray, Louisiana.

A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Kristy is survived by the love of her life, Justin A. Hebert; sons, Christian A. Stansberry and companion, Lizzie, Phillip J. Petersen, and Dylan S. Petersen; parents, Linda Arnold Callais, and Terry Glenn Stansberry; brothers, Adam J. Callais and wife, Nicole, Thomas P. Callais and wife, Emerita, and John Stansberry and wife, Stephanie; sisters, Jamie Trenchard and husband, Teddy, and Nikki Mercado and husband, Dustin; in-laws, Greg and Barbara Hebert; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kristy was preceded in death by her daughters, Kara Marie and Jordan Lee; father, Philip W. Callais, Jr.; grandparents, Thomas and Carol Cosand Arnold, Nolan and Betty Glenn Stansberry.

Kristy was full of life and enjoyed challenges. She had a mischievous nature. She enjoyed her hobbies and impromptu road trips. Kristy was an organ donor and through her death she gave the gift of life to others.
