Julia "Sis" Hess Pitre, 80, a native of Venice, LA and a resident of Golden Meadow, LA, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, Golden Meadow, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Pitre III and wife Hope; daughters, Gwen Pitre, Van Pitre, Dinah Stallings; brothers, Willie Jr., Robert, Jerry, Johnny, Roy Hess; sister, Dora Roeder; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Pitre, Jr.; daughters, Ray and Fay Pitre; parents, Willie Hess Sr. and Dora Martin Hess and brothers, Huey and Henry Hess.
Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
