Julia Ann Brunet

Julia Ann Brunet, 65, a native of Golden Meadow, LA and a resident of Galliano, LA passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano starting at 10:00AM with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at 12:00PM with burial to follow at Cheramie Cemetery.

Julia is survived by those left to cherish her memory, her loving husband, of 5 years, Allen Brunet Jr.; children, Kristi Senette (Nick), Michele Acosta (Jason), Donny Leday, and Ryan Leday; stepson, Joshua Brunet; treasured grandchildren, Jacob, Peyton, Cy, Cade, Ruby Jo, and Bailey; and her sister, Elaine Alario.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Etienne “Fotch” Pitre & Yvonne Williams Pitre; sisters, Carrie Lou & Kathleen; and her stepson, Jace Brunet.

The family will like to give a special thanks to Julia’s family doctor, Elizabeth Angelette, St. Joseph’s Hospice, and Brady and staff at Lafourche Ambulance.
