Joyce Savoie, 79, a native of Lafayette and New Orleans and a resident of Boutte, died on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Tonie Granger and husband Lloyd; son, Louis Savoie and wife Kathy; daughter-in-law, Nancy Savoie; 2 brothers, Joe Dronet and Shirley of Houston and Pat Dronet; 4 grandchildren, Paul Neese and wife Keri, Matt Granger, Tenaj Savoie, Meghan Savoie, and Nick Ernst; and 7 great-grandchildren, Justin, Chelsey, Gabby, Gabriel, Remington, Katie and Raegan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilbert "Joe" Savoie; parents, Joseph and Alice Dronet; sister, Shirley LeBlanc; and brother, Harold Dronet.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
