Joyce Babin Levron, 90, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Falgout Funeral Home, Houma, LA and from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, November 17, 2017 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Bayou Blue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel "Paul" Levron, Milton Levron and Randy Levron; daughters, Ruby Daigle (Larry), Phyllis Ledet (Albert Jr.), Melinda Gros (Roy) and Juanita Positerry; brother, Merlin Babin and 144 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Daniel Joseph Levron; sons, Timothy, Wilson, Terry, Gilbert, Wayne Levron; daughter Debra Quick; daughter-in-law, Elaine Levron; parents, David and Lucille Babin; brothers, Donald and Gerald Babin; sisters, Marjorie Rome and Marion Esptein; grandson, Justin Ledet and great grandson, Jace Leroux.
Joyce was on the board of the Bayou Blue Senior Citizens when it was founded. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great and great-great grandmother who enjoyed cooking.
Falgout Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
