Joseph “Joe” Young, 74, a native of Texas and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022.
Joe is survived by his wife, Kelly Chester Young; daughter, Kelly Candies (Sidney); step-daughters, Kandyce Simoneaux (Carl) and Kerilyn Holmes (Sean); 9 grandchildren: Grant, Ross, Wyatt and Tucker Candies, Liam and Myah Simoneaux, Camille and Sophia Holmes and Noah Chiasson; brothers, Jim Young (Sammie), Bob Young (Patty), Paul Young (Debbie); sister, Latretta Jo Walker; in-laws, Bernadette and Johnny Adams and Donald and Natalie Chester; sisters and brothers-in law, Monica and Keith Poole and Donnie and Elita Chester.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Chiasson; parents, Lewis R. Young and Beth Curry Young; sister, Sharon Young and brother-in-law, Charles Walker.
Private services are scheduled for a later date.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
