Joseph “Brother Joe”A. Soley, 59, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Lockport passed away on Saturday, January 6th, 2024.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at House of Prayer in Larose on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024 from 11:00 am until service time. Mr. Joseph’s Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with procession following to his burial in Cheramie Cemetery.

Brother Joe is survived by siblings: Darlene Payne (Stanley), Cheryl Webber, Dona Ward Brown (Tim), Dwayne Soley (Betty); nephews and nieces: Rodney Stewart (Jennifer), Ashley Arceneaux (Jeremy), Stanley Payne Jr. (Alissa), Jacob Hebert; great nieces and nephews: Aiden Stewart, Julian Arceneaux, McKenzie Arceneaux, London Stewart, Dawson Arceneaux, Cullen Collins, Joseph Arceneaux, aunts and uncle: Elaine “Lenny” Soley, Delo Dantin, Gloria McDonald; Jimmy Dardar (Emma Lois).

Mr. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents: Clayvington Soley and Nora Dardar Verdin (Mitch); brother: Clayvington Soley, Jr. and nephew: Patrick Webber.

Mr. Soley was a devoted member of House of Prayer, very hard worker, loved fishing, and had a heart of gold. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
