Joseph Wilson Marcel

Joseph “Joe” Wilson Marcel, age 54, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. He was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin on Thursday, October 2, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 p.m.

Joe is survived by his daughters, Katelian Trahan, and Baylee Marcel and companion, Draven Hancock; grandchildren, Maylynn and Raven Hancock; sister, Veronica Marcel Lirette and husband, Wayne; brothers, Elmer Jr. and wife, Samantha, Kirt, Donald and wife, Tammy, Scott and Brent Marcel; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Joseph Sr. and Stella Benoit Marcel; and brother, Patrick Marcel.
