Johnny J. Lasseigne Sr, 82, a native and lifelong resident of Galliano, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026.
Johnny is survived by his beloved wife, of 63 beautiful years, Mary Lee Guidry Lasseigne; son, Johnny J. Lasseigne Jr. (Tanya); daughters, Melissa M. Lasseigne (Ross Eymard) and Laura L. Lorreine (Donald); brother, Arsen Lasseigne Jr.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arsen Sr. and Sisca Lasseigne; brothers, Norby, Alex, Nolan, Wilbert, and Ivy Lasseigne; and sisters, Myrna Blanchard and Augustine Martin.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, Louisiana on Friday, November 6, 2026 beginning at 9:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at 11:00 am with burial to follow to Cheramie Cemetery.
