John "Johnny" W. Schaubhut, 86, a native and resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, LA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Bertrand Schaubhut and wife Erica; sister, Mary Marcel; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Cortez and husband Ferdie, Lonny Schaubhut, Philip Woods; 3 great grandchildren, Courtney Crockett, Dylan Crockett, Heather Cortez and 2 great great grandchildren, Caden LeBlanc and Myah Cortez.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise M. Schaubhut, sons, Lonny and Philip Schaubhut; parents, William and Cecile M. Schaubhut; brothers, James "Jimmy" and Lloyd Schaubhut and sister, Diana Folse.
Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
