A private service with be held with burial in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Des Allemands, LA.
John is survived by his niece; Peggy Frickey.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur L. Sr. and Rose Christen Schaubhut; brothers, Edwin, Merlyn and Arthur Jr. Schaubhut; and sisters, Vivian Rogers, Rita Matherne, and Lillian Dufrene.
