John P. Duet, Sr., 74, a native of Labadieville, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 in Jefferson, LA.
Religious services will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 3, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Raceland, LA with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, John Paul Duet, Jr.; daughter, Cynthia Duet; brother, Lawrence Duet, Jr. sister, Audrey Pennington and 2 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Lawrence Duet, Sr. and Doris Aysen Duet; brother, Percy Duet and sister, Mona Falgout.
