John Joseph Babin, 71, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, died at 2:26 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Dupre Babin; daughter, Elizabeth Babin; brother, Glenn Babin; and sister, Beverly Dorin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Babin Sr. and Genevieve Adams Babin; and brother, Hubert Babin Jr.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
