Jimmie John Davidson, 82, a native of Abbeville, LA and a resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Holy Savior Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Holy Savior Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy LeBlanc Davidson; son, David Davidson; daughters, Donna Chauvin and husband Duane, Mary Davidson and companion, Charlie Adams, Linda Ellis and husband Jeremy, Sandy Davidson, Amy Davidson; sister, Gloria Vadallier; half sister, Hazel Strickland; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmie Jude Davidson; daughter, Kelly Davidson; parents, Felix and Lydia Hebert Davidson; brother, Oris Davidson; half brother, Percy Breaux.
Jimmie was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church, a member of American Legion Post 83 of Lockport, LA and a Korean War Air Force Veteran.
