Jessie James Guidry Sr

Jessie James Guidry Sr., a native and resident of Golden Meadow received his angel wings on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

Mr. Jessie is survived by his children: Jessie Guidry Jr., Herman Guidry (Maria), Chasadee Erazo (Arnold), Eric Guidry Sr.; grandchildren: Dylan, Courtnee, Yoselin, Robert, Kylee, Jessie III, Eric Jr., Cabot, Connor, Herman Jr., Harmony, Haden, Arnold Jr., Jeremiah, Emilee; great grandchildren: Adeline, Emmersyn, Todd, Skylar; brothers Armond Guidry Jr, Alvin Guidry, Nolan Guidry.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Triana E. Guidry; parents, Armond Sr. & Felicia Guidry; brothers, Eves Guidry, Livingston Guidry, Andre Guidry, Harrison Guidry, Steven Guidry, Kelton Guidry, Anse Guidry; sisters, Pricilla Guidry, Nolta Guidry Enola Curole, Catherine Billiot; granddaughter, Triana Erazo.

Jessie enjoyed being outside by the water fishing or out on the boat trawling. When he had the chance and the weather was right he could be found enjoying a ride on his motor cycle. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandkids.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Golden Meadow, Wednesday, October 21, 2026, 9:00AM until service time. A mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:00AM with burial to follow at Cheramie Cemetery.
