Jerry Dantin, Sr.

Jerry Dantin Sr, 79, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

Mr. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 58 years: Laura D. Dantin; children: Jerry Dantin Jr. (Natalie); grandchildren: Enrique, Javier, Lilliana, Seth, Emma, Olivia, Maddie (Robert), Mikey; great grandchildren: Knox, Carmen, Claire; son in law: David Guidry; and sister: Patricia “Pat” Loupe.

Mr. Dantin was preceded in death by daughter: Spring Guidry; and parents: Alcide and Mary P. Dantin.

Mr. Jerry was a proud US Army Vietnam Veteran, a member of American Legion Post 259, and retired with over 22 years with Texaco. He was a devout family man that put the needs of his family and friends before himself.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 11 am until service time. Mr. Jerry’s Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
