Jerry “Gerald” Comardelle, 78, a native of Des Allemands, LA and a resident of Ama, LA, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Paradis, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am .

He is survived by his sons, Jerry Comardelle, Jr. and Jonathan Comardelle; daughters, Melissa Berteau and Millicent Morris; brothers, Leslie Comardelle, Gary Comardelle and Michael Comardelle; sisters, Wyonnia Romero and Mary Ann Pickett; half brother, Wilton Philip Comardelle; half sisters, Marie Baker, Mary DeHart, Cecile Jacobs and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Bellanger Comardelle; son, Joshua Comardelle; parents, Wilton Comardelle Sr. and Estelle Comardelle; brothers, Wilton “Strech” Comardelle, Jr. and Richard “Ricky” Comardelle; sisters, Elma Bergeron and Kathleen Rodriguez.

Jerry loved his trips to Wal-Mart and his butter biscuits and crackers with his coffee. Jerry will be missed by many.
