Jeffrie "Boo" Dean Sonnier

Jeffrie “Boo” Dean Sonnier, age 68, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma on Saturday, February 28, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery.

Boo is survived by his brother, Michael J. Sonnier and wife, Mandy; sisters, Debra “Debbie” Terry and husband, Andrew “Bruce”, Pamela “Pam” Carroll, and Angela “Angie” LeBoeuf and former brother-in-law, Kevin; nephews and nieces, Brian Terry, godchild, Andrae Burman and husband, Kabeer, Ross Carroll, Franki Lea Carroll-Davis and husband, Kobee, Jennifer LeBouef, Spencer Sonnier, Hailey Savoie, and godchild, Sawyer Sonnier; and great-nephews and nieces, Alissa Terry, Cameron Terry, Maverick Burman, Beckam Burman, Fletcher Burman, and Brynlea Carroll.

Boo was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Adam Sonnier and Claudette Marie LeBouef Sonnier; sister, Kari L. Sonnier; and brother-in-law, Frank Carroll.

Boo was a 1976 H.L Bourgeois High School graduate. He was employed with Max Welders as a purchasing agent for over 30 years. He was member of LQHBA and AQHA. Boo enjoyed raising and racing quarter horses, fishing, and was an avid Saints and LSU fan, and most of all spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly miss by all who knew him.
