Jefferson Peter Lasseigne, Sr.

Jefferson Peter Lasseigne Sr., 85, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. He was a native of Galliano and resident of Cut Off, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Monday, August 26, 2024, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Cut Off.

Jefferson is survived by his wife of 41 years, Betty Ann LeBlanc Lasseigne; sons, Jefferson Lasseigne Jr. and wife, Mitzi; stepsons, Clifton Bellanger and wife, Lisa, and Scott Bellanger and wife, Mary; daughters, Susan L. Eymard and husband, Tommy, and Laura L. West and husband, Bill; stepdaughters, Tammy Bellanger, Becky B. Williams and husband, Edward, and Barbara B. Zeringue and husband, Corey; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. 

Jefferson was preceded in death by his son, Marty Lasseigne; grandson, Tyler Zeringue; parents, Alcess Celestine Lasseigne and Viola “Me-Me” Marie Toups Lasseigne; brother, Raleigh Lasseigne and wife, Kaye.
